Services available at the library


 Our public access computers offer Internet access and Microsoft office tools. See our internet use policy. You can make reservations when you arrive for computer time in 60-minute increments with a maximum of 2 hours per day.



The MBLC and MLS offer a wide array of electronic information databases on a variety of topics geared to a variety of age levels, for both generalists and specialists.  These databases are accessible in the library or from home with a valid library card. (Patrons must have current card and account in good standing to qualify for remote access.) A description of individual databases is available at

Fax machine

Faxes can be sent for $1.00 per page. If requested, a cover page is an additional $1.00.


Homebound Delivery

The library delivers materials to homebound residents. For more information please call 508-883-1931.


Interlibrary Loan

If you don't find the item you want in our catalog, you may order it from another library. This can be done from home or from the library.
We have a wide range of periodicals available for our patrons.  All issues circulate for 1 week.


We also have a black and white photocopier available at $.20 per page.  Our staff will be happy to help you.

Renew a book

You may renew circulating materials, providing that no one else is waiting for them. You can call us to renew your item for you, or you may renew your materials online by accessing your account.


Tax Forms

Massachusett state tax forms both resident and non-resident are available in the library. Unfortunately Federal tax forms are not available you may request them from or phone 1-800-829-3676 for forms by mail.



The library has a wide variety of DVDs and Blue Ray DVDs to borrow.
